Beavers
The Beaver Promise
I promise to do my best
To be kind and helpful
And to love God
The Beaver Colony is open to girls and boys from ages 6 to 8 and meets on both Tuesday at 5:30 to 7:00pm and Friday at 5:30 untill 7:00pm.
Beaver Scouts are young people aged between six and eight years old. They belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. You people can join Beavers three months leading up to their sixth birthday. They can move the the next section, Cub Scouts, between seven years and six months and eight years and six months.
Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beavers enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others. They usually meet together once a week at the Beaver colony.
Beaver Scout Colonies also organise Sleepovers. There are often the first time a young person spends a night away from home. They take place in suitable buildings, often Scout Centres.
